How to install ring doorbell without existing doorbellEven if you don’t already have a doorbell, Ring Doorbells are simple to install. Everything you need is included in the Ring kit. Recharge Your Device’s Battery

• Plug the orange cable provided with the battery into a power source to fully charge it.
When the battery is fully charged, the indicator will turn green.
Your Ring Doorbell 2’s battery should be inserted into the bottom of the device until it clicks into place.
Your Ring Video Doorbell 2 has to be aligned.
To ensure that your Ring Video Doorbell 2 is properly aligned, follow these steps:
Use the little hole below the camera on the front of Ring Doorbell 2 to insert the level tool.
The Ring Doorbell 2 should be placed at roughly chest level close to your front door.

• Use the level tool to level the device.

• Use a pencil to mark the locations of the mounting holes.​

Drill Holes
Use the plastic anchors included in the box to secure the Ring Doorbell 2 to masonry, concrete, or stucco. A hammer may be required to drive the anchors into the ground. Use the screws provided if you are mounting the bracket on wood or vinyl. Remove the level tool from the front of your Ring Video Doorbell before placing it over the holes. When installing a Ring Video Doorbell 2, use all four screws that come with the doorbell. When installing a faceplate on your Ring Video Doorbell, slot it in at the top and click it into place. Faceplate should be secured using the included security screw and screwdriver bit with a star-shaped end to tighten the screw.
